A Little About Me Born and raised in the Gbandi village on the outskirts of Monrovia, the capital of Liberia. Thats West Africa in case you didn't know. Next to Ivory Coast. Being a missionaries' kid (MK), I spent over 15 years of my life in Africa. Spent my first 7 years in Liberia, after which the civil war broke out, my family and I were forced to move to Singapore. After 3 years in Singapore, we moved again and this time, we landed in South Africa. We moved into an established Indian town called Lenasia which was situated south of Johannesburg. After 8 memorable years, my parents had completed their work term, and once again we were on the move. This time, to Toronto, Canada - which is where I currently live. South Africa is still my home, no matter where I end up, my fondest memories lie there. Theres no place like it! Interests Among my many interests, here are a few that I think are worth mentioning: Computers - My biggest interest as with most probably any other guy my age is computers in general. Hardware assembly, software programming, website design - these are some fields that I've been absorbed into. Most recently, website design, which is why I've been spending more time with this personal website. Gaming is also another of my interests, although I wouldn't consider myself as a veteran gamer. Cars - Another common topic between many guys my age. I'm a big fan of sports cars - mainly European and Japanese. With european cars, I appreciate the quality and build as well as performance of the cars. With japanese cars, its their ability to push out so much from so little that amazes me. Favourite cars? BMW M3 CSL, Honda S2000, and Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VIII. Hopefully, I can own at least one of them in the near future. \(^_^)/ As for cars I dislike? ANYTHING Mercedes. F1 Racing is also another of my interests. I was deciding where I should put this either in the Cars category or the Sports category. Anyway, I'm a BMW Williams fan all the way. Hopefully I'll be able to watch my very first real race in June 2004, if all plans go well. Anime - This is why I wish I was born a Japanese. Among others, these are some of my favourite anime series - Cowboy Bebop, Naruto, Initial D, and Rurouni Kenshin. I grew up with most of my junior years hooked on the Dragonball series. It was my favourite series for a very long time, but I think theres a time when people should stop milking a dying franchise. Dammit, let the franchise rest in peace! Sports - I've been playing Cricket throughout most of my South African life, I guess its no wonder that I still enjoy watching it, although I haven't had the opportunity to play it in quite awhile. Thanks to my summer job at Tyndale in 2003, I've also grown to like Golf.
